The International Association of Forensic Mental Health Services is an international organization of forensic mental health workers.
The Association focuses on four major areas:
- Clinical forensic psychiatry and psychology including family violence,
- administrative/legal issues,
- Research in forensic mental health (civil/criminal), violence, and abuse, and
- Training and education.
The Association also publishes the International Journal of Forensic Mental Health, which is intended to provide an international forum for disseminating research and practical developments to forensic mental health professionals.
Membership in IAFMHS
Membership includes a subscription to the International Journal of Forensic Mental Health. There are three membership categories to choose from. Current members will receive a reduced rate at annual conferences.
Membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st of the current year.
The International Journal of Forensic Mental Health is published four times a year and each issue will be shipped at time of publication.

2012 Corporate Membership
Price: $250 CAD/year + HST
Corporate membership includes a subscription to the International Journal of Forensic Mental Health and a reduction in the registration fee for annual conferences for you or one of your senior administrators.
2012 Individual Membership
Price: $115 CAD/year + HST
Membership includes subscription to the International Journal of Forensic Mental Health. Membership also entitles you to reduced conference rates for the calendar year of membership.
2012 Student Membership
Price: $55 CAD/year + HST
Student Rate is for any student not employed full time.
